The challenge: to come up with a new solution for issuing price labels in bakeries
For the Managing Director of Barcook Bakery Group in Singapore, Lih Cherng SIM, the price labels displayed in the shops are an integral part of the group's professional and modern image.
Previously, the 10 shops printed their price labels on paper and laminated them. But the laminates came off easily and the cards had to be replaced frequently.
The solution: the Evolis all-in-one price label printing solution, including the Zenius plastic card printer
The General Manager was already looking for a new solution to issue price labels when the Evolis distributor in Singapore presented the all-in-one solution for printing price labels.
In 2015, Barcook Bakery purchased the Evolis solution including the Zenius plastic card printer, card design software and consumables.
This system would enable them to issue professional plastic price labels directly at the point of sale in just a few minutes.
The result: elegant, easy-to-clean price labels for a stronger brand image
Thanks to cardPresso software, Barcook Bakery can now personalise its price labels with the company's green colour, logo and font. All price labels are designed and printed centrally.
They are printed on the front with white text and contain a product symbol. Around 30 to 60 price labels are produced every two months for each shop.
