Following in the footsteps of the dairy of the same name, La cave Les Carmélites has adopted the Edikio Price Tag solution for labeling its point of sale.
The Challenge: Customised and Differentiated Labels for the Creamery and Wine Shop with Edikio Price Tag
After opening the Carmélites creamery in 2018, Stéphane Corre, cheesemonger and manager, decided to open a wine shop to offer his customers a selection of unique, high-quality products. The Carmélites wine shop now offers nearly 150 organic, biodynamic, and natural wines sourced from French producers.
Initially, Stéphane Corre was drawn to the Edikio Price Tag solution for labelling the creamery products. Easy to clean and, most importantly, food-safe (compliant with European regulations)*, the price tags created and printed with the Edikio Price Tag Flex printer and included software quickly found their place in the first store.
When the wine shop opened a few months later, Les Carmélites decided to maximise their investment by using a single Edikio Price Tag Flex solution for both stores. It was natural to adapt Edikio Price Tag use to reflect the image of the wine shop and its retail environment.

“Our labels had to integrate seamlessly into our store while providing customers with key information,” says Ms Marquais, manager of Les Carmélites wine shop. She chose to print the price tags on black cards with white monochrome printing. She customises the labels to include mandatory information for selling alcoholic products:
- Name of the cuvée
- Name of the producer or vineyard
- Unit sale price
- Price per litre
- Production region
Ms Marquais also uses Edikio Price Tag to create custom signage labels, helping customers easily identify the wine production regions. This system makes it easier for them to navigate the store.
